WolfQuest

Wolfquest is an open-world wildlife simulator game, which tells us about wolf life. The app is running with the help of the Unity Engine. The first release of this game was in 2007 for PC, and later developers decided to port it on Android and iOS. This decision made Wolfquest even more popular than it was before. A community has increased enormously in a short time. Over 1 million users installed this game on their Android and iOS devices combined.

Storyline 8/10

The story tells us about a lone wolf, which is being controlled by a player. His mission is to survive in any possible way. You can hunt for different kind of animals, such as rabbit, dears, bears, etc. But it's not that easy. For example, some living beings may harm or even kill you, so you must be careful while finding food for your wolf. The main goal of the game is to find a match for the pet. After you do that, your wolf may have a big family in the future.

Wolfquest begins from creating your wolf. Developers provided their players with a full animal editor, in which people can choose their wolf's fur colour, it's saturation and brightness. After that, you have to choose gender and name your beast.

There is also a multiplayer, in which you can play with other players, create a pack of five wolfs and survive together. Game mechanics are still the same.

You can communicate with other players with the help of text chat. Developers have also added a filter that should prevent obscene language. So if someone wants to say some abusive words, most likely he is going to be banned. That means your child is safe to play in the multiplayer.

It is worth mentioning that the game world is enormous. A map is huge enough, so players will have to spend a lot of time to explore the whole world.

Graphics 6/10

Graphics are pretty simple. No wonder, this game was released many years ago, so in 2019 many people can find the game boring because of that. Nevertheless, the app is still very intriguing to play. Developers focused on animals, so models of fauna in this game have a nice and fascinating graphics. Whole nature looks beautiful too.

Sound 8/10

In the main menu, we can hear fancy music playing. However, during the gameplay, there is no soundtrack. Nevertheless, you will be able to hear different noises, such as birds, the ruffle of leaves, wind breezes, etc. All of this sounds impressed us; we found them very relaxing, fascinating and realistic.
